a late model Mazda driven by a 67 year old female from Cootamundra collided with a 1992 model white ford falcon driven by a 49 year old female from Harden landing in a residential hedge at 3.50pm on Wednesday, October 17.The falcon was travelling along Adams Street heading west at approximately 40 kilometres per hour when it failed to give way at the Adams and Crown Street intersection, colliding with the Mazda. As a result the Mazda was pushed into a residential property coming to a halt when landing in a hedge.Emergency services were called to the scene and the 67 year driver of the Mazda was transported to the Cootamundra Hospital for an ankle injury and was released not long later.

Both vehicles had to be towed away from the accident scene. The 49-year-old driver of the ford was issued with a traffic infringement notice for failing to give way.
